verison wireless, verizon wireless phones I was having a conversation with my nephew over the weekend who was in town from Los Alamos, and he said that the LANL (Los Alamos National Laboratories) uses Verizon wireless services for all their cell phone needs. I'd heard that Verizon wireless was the best in the country, and now that I know that LANL chose them for their cell services, I feel that their reputation is probably well deserved. Verizon wireless phones come with all sorts of features, and since my contract is up next month with another provider, I'll probably switch to a Verizon wireless plan.

Whomever has the best plan, especially for family and friend's calling, has been the way I've chosen my plans in the past, but good coverage across the country is also important, especially in the mountains, where coverage can be really spotty. Los Alamos is over 7,000 feet high, and they have great cell phone coverage even in the mountains outside of town. Being able to make a call when you're out camping is good insurance against emergencies, so Verizon wireless has my vote.
