We can't get wireless broadband through our television. Well, maybe not through your television but maybe through your television aerial. The Wireless Innovation Alliance, which includes Microsoft, Google and Dell, want to be able to use white space to provide wireless broadband to home users. This white space spectrum is the unused space in between the digital channels that we are being forced to use. The Federal Communication commission is now testing these 'white space' broadband devices. And if these devices don't interfere with the picture quality of television viewers, we will soon be able to have wireless broadband through our television aerial. This is not the first time that the Federal Communication commission has tested these 'white space' broadband devices. During the first round of testing, these devices messed up the television signals. This wireless broadband would give its users high speed broadband that is always on. I think that this new innovation sounds very cool and would be very interesting to have this type of wireless broadband. Only, if they can figure out how to not mess up our television viewing. Here is a video about using this white space.
